Block: Grievances

The time for the pain is over! I haven't the need for the pain. Not since I've known you (Spirit) You showed me how, how to leave myself behind. How to turn down the noise in my mind. 'Til you showed me how. How to fill my heart with love. How to open up and drink In all that white light Pouring down from the heaven
"Come on Up to the House" by Tom Waits is a soul-stirring song that beckons listeners to embrace surrender and the act of letting go. Through its haunting melodies and gritty, raw vocals, the song evokes a powerful sense of vulnerability and resilience. It's a call to shed the burdens of the external world and embark on an introspective journey within, seeking solace in the company of the Holy Spirit. With its lyrics that explore themes of redemption, the song serves as an emotional pilgrimage, inviting us to find shelter, solace, and salvation in the sanctuary of our own hearts.
On the edge of darkness there's a brightest light
Chiquitita is you, me, everyone. The voice talking is God, Jesus, Spirit.
The 'reason' is healing and it is our mind that is 'bent' and, 'We can learn to love again' from the Holy Spirit.
This song is great to expose the doubt thoughts and beliefs held in the unconscious mind such as the deeply rooted and disturbing feeling that deep down we don’t really belong or fit in. Songs like this are wonderful for getting in touch with the unconscious mind and raising it up for healing. For this reason, it’s invaluable!
