Listening to this song gave me chills. I feel the interpretation for it is that it is not speaking about ‘them’ as other people so much as thoughts. These lyrics are more about the tiny mad idea of the cosmos rather than other people. And the lyric, ‘I have been to the movies.‘ reflects back to us, the listener, as the script is written, it’s in the can so we can let go of all grievances knowing it’s absolutely not personal!
