This world is all ‘smoke and mirrors’, so choices here are simply between which illusions we prefer. They are not really choices at all!
When we ‘don’t decide’, the Holy Spirit can present us with a new choice—one of purpose: forgiveness! It is only by accepting and fulfilling our function of forgiveness that we can be truly happy.
