Music is such a great metaphor for joining and becoming one with a song. Like if the atonement were a love song between God and His Son and we’re all the notes that are making up that song. Every one of us is to play our note and let our note be heard to sing our part in the song, so that every note becomes the music. The music becomes the song. The song is just experienced as this beautiful, flowing extension of creation of who we are. An experience of just giving and receiving and being everything
Our part of coming into that is to clear away everything that’s in the way of our note being sung. The fear of letting it be heard. The judgment that says, ‘Oh no, I didn’t sound good at all.’ Any grievance or attack thoughts that would have that note sounding off key is to be healed and released and cleared away so that this pure note can just be extended from who we are.
It’s the perfect example of how you can’t go out and find that anywhere else. You can’t improve your note beyond what it is. Your note is just perfect and pristine. It’s ready to just shine. It’s total and complete in what it is. That’s why joining with mighty companions is the fast track because when you’re together and something’s feeling out of harmony together. Something’s conflicting with someone, it’s like, “Hey, we’re two notes in a song here. Why is it that we sound terrible together?” Let’s take a look at that and clear it out of the way. Because all we really want is to feel joined and connected together. That’s the prayer of everyone’s heart.
